Research assistant position, Department of Botany and Microbiology, Faculty of Science, King Saud University, KSA.

  The position requires satisfactory technical experiences in the following research skills:
  1- Mammalian cell culture growth and maintenance.
  2- Nucleic acid extraction and purification.
  3- PCR and RT-PCR.
  4- Nucleic acid and protein electrophoresis.
  5- ELISA and related immunoassays.
  Additional experiences in: Molecular cloning; Western immunoblotting; viral inoculation and titration and sequence analysis will be highly appreciated.
 
The accepted candidate will be directed to practically assist in the research activities of definite research projects working in the field of virology and immunology.
 
Candidates should be males, not exceeding 35 years-old and preferabally with acdemic degrees(Diploma, Master or Ph.D).
 
Candidates do not expect to receive an academic degree, although it may be available in certain restricted conditions.
 
The position provides a challanging montly stipend, health insurance and accomodation and lodging expenses.
