Portugal - SESAME Fellowship

Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and

Synchrotron-light for Experimental Science and Applications in the Middle East (SESAME)

Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology, FCT, is a public organization created for promoting the advancement of scientific and technological knowledge in Portugal.

FCT, under an agreement with SESAME, is offering 4 one-year training fellowships in the following areas to applicants from SESAME Members

Applicants should hold a degree of Master of Science (M.Sc./M.S.) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in either of the following areas:

Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.

Fellowship program is aimed at PhD students and post-doctoral scientists and/or engineers. This program will focus on the research topics related to the construction, operation and development of beamlines and the synchrotron storage ring.
