Dear Members of Science development network
Understanding the factors that affect the performance of scientists in Islamic countries ; what motivates them; and how they perceive their work environment to be either facilitating or hindering their research aspirations is critical to developing effective systems of scientific research and innovation.
Thus, Science Development Network in cooperation with the OIC Standing Committee for Science and Technology (COMSTECH) and MuslimScience.com are inviting you for participating in the Muslim Scientists and Technologists' Perceptions, Motivations, and Performance Study (STPMPS).
We request you to please take the time to complete the survey linked to this e-mail and have the satisfaction of contributing to very interesting and useful research that may positively help in the building of an effective innovation system in your country.
As a token of our appreciation for your contribution, we are offering a series of THREE PRIZES drawn from the list of all completed surveys. We have meticulously selected the following three of the most exciting books detailing the contribution of Muslim Science and Technology -- as worthy prizes for this draw.
- Prof. Al-Hassani's 1001 Inventions: Muslim Heritage in Our World
- George Saliba's Islamic Science and the Making of European Rennaissance
- Michael Morgan's Lost History: The Enduring Legacy of Muslim Scientists, Thinkers, and Artists
The survey is available online until the end of November and can be undertaken at: https://www.hostedware.com/secure/hs/takesurvey.asp?c=STPMPS
Your participation and feedback is critical to enhancing our collective understanding of this important issue. We look forward to your participation in this study.
With King Regards,
